Green Procurement Standard

The essence of our Green Procurement standard is to identify and reduce environmental impact and to maximize resource efficiency.  Over the last several years, we have successfully demonstrated our commitment and ability to make purchases that reduce the impact on the environment.

Green purchasing is a consideration of supply chain management taking into account of our ecosystem to achieve environmentally responsible purchasing. In a nutshell, it is a way of adding environmental considerations to the price and performance criteria businesses use to make purchasing decisions.

Our guideline for purchase consideration is:

Purchasing Decisions = Economic Decisions + Environmental Decisions

As a global corporate citizen, we have several initiatives aimed at helping our environment and reducing our environmental impact:

• Reduce material and energy consumption
• Reduce energy usage through energy conservation from efficient equipment
• Reduce impact to landfill by generating less waste and using longer lasting products
• Reduce eWaste by using more durable and repairable equipment
• Limit or ban all hazardous material usage in our facility
